None of the places selected on the Île d'Oléron clearly advertises a pool heated all year round. At Villa sur la plage de Vertbois, Les Jardins d'Oléron and Les Mouettes, piscine chauffée jusqu'à début novembre, heating is seasonal (1 april to 1 november). Maison de charme avec piscine intérieure chauffée, Hôtel & Spa Le Grand Large and Hôtel et Spa Les Cleunes have an indoor pool, sheltered from the wind. Either way, ask for the heating dates before you book.
