Content and method
Holivaya is an independent guide. Listings are selected from public sources (official websites, booking platforms, paraphrased guest reviews, press). Information, especially about pool heating and water temperature, may change: please check with the property before booking.
Affiliate links and partner listings
Some links to booking sites are affiliate links: if you book after clicking, Holivaya may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. “Partner listings” are submitted by owners and, where applicable, published under a paid subscription; they appear in a separate section with the “Partner” badge. The guide’s main selection is not paid for.
Intellectual property and credits
Texts, layout and the selection of listings belong to MEREJI. Destination photos come from Unsplash (Unsplash licence) and are credited on each page; some city illustrations were created for Holivaya. Property and brand names belong to their owners.
Personal data
Audience measurement. Holivaya counts page views and link clicks with its own tool, hosted by IONOS in the European Union. No cookie is used for this, IP addresses are not stored and no data is shared with third parties. An anonymous identifier, recalculated every day, is only used to count unique visitors; the country is estimated from the device’s time zone. Statistics are kept for no more than 25 months.
“List your property” form. The information you send (name, email, phone, description) is used only to review your submission and contact you. It is kept for the duration of our relationship and at most 3 years after the last contact, and is never sold.
Outreach. Holivaya may contact properties related to its guide at their published business address. Every message lets you opt out by replying “STOP”.
Your rights. Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection and restriction: write to contact@holivaya.com. You may also contact the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
Cookies
The public website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Linked websites (booking platforms, Unsplash, Google Fonts for typefaces) apply their own policies.
