With a whole-property rental the pool is private: you swim whenever you like. Just check that heating is included, or request it when you book. Positano stacks its pastel houses on a steep slope facing the Gulf of Salerno. For now, only one place of this type meets my criteria in Positano: Villa DonnaRosa Guest House.

The pool. Small two-bedroom house (sleeps 4) with access to a heated 4 × 4 m saltwater pool, shared with the owner, open from 10 am to 8 pm.

Guide's tip. The pool is normally only available from June to September: outside those months, ask the host whether it's open.
These places don't have a confirmed heated pool, but they do have a hot tub: the water is hot all year round. A good way to relax in the warm.

None of the places selected in Positano clearly advertises a pool heated all year round. At Villa DonnaRosa Guest House, heating is seasonal (june to september). Either way, ask for the heating dates before you book.
