From north to south, Turkey's Aegean coast unrolls indented peninsulas, coves and seaside towns facing the nearby Greek islands. The wind quickly cools the air once summer is over. The selection brings together the big hotels of the Bodrum peninsula, the thermal hotels of Ilıca in Çeşme and a few places in Kuşadası with an indoor pool. I've selected 31 places, all rated at least 8/10; the top-rated is Aegean Sunset Villa (4.96/5).

Samara Hotel Bodrum, Maxx Royal Bodrum and Ilıca Hotel Spa & Wellness Thermal Resort have an indoor pool, sheltered from the wind. Either way, ask for the heating dates before you book.
