In a guesthouse you're welcomed rather than simply accommodated. The pool is rarely large, but it's quieter than at a hotel. In the Drôme Provençale, heated water is mostly found in houses to rent around Nyons and Grignan. For now, only one place of this type meets my criteria in the Drôme Provençale: Suite à Nyons avec jardin privé.

None of the places selected in the Drôme Provençale clearly advertises a pool heated all year round. At Suite à Nyons avec jardin privé, heating is seasonal (in season). Either way, ask for the heating dates before you book.

The word "heated" on a booking page isn't enough. Every place must have a rating of at least 8/10 (or 4/5) and carries one of these four levels.
