With a hotel there's no need to ask for the heating or look after the pool: you just go down for a swim. In Syracuse and the Val di Noto, the heated pools are spread between Ortigia, Noto and the seaside villas. For now, only one place of this type meets my criteria in Syracuse: Ortea Palace Hotel, Sicily, Autograph Collection.
